Dear Patients,
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Clay Alviani to Polished Dental! He will assume the role as primary associate dentist at our Churchill location starting Monday, July 3rd. After a lengthy interview process, he was personally selected by Dr. Troupe from a large pool of potential dentists, and as a native Pittsburgher, he will fit right in with our team and patients.
Dr. Alviani was raised just outside of the city and graduated from Hopewell High School. He studied at Penn State and completed his dental education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. After practicing in the Tampa area for several years, he moved back to Pittsburgh to establish a home and be closer to family. He enjoys traveling, volunteering, home renovation, and he is a devoted Penn State and Pittsburgh sports fan.
With almost a decade of experience, he provides modern, comprehensive dental care to his patients, including restorative, emergency, and cosmetic procedures. He is very excited to join the Churchill team, and we can’t wait for you to meet him.
Dr. McShane, who is a close personal friend of Dr. Troupe and has served as the primary dentist in Churchill since early 2020, is moving back to Denver, where he lived prior to returning to Pittsburgh in 2019. Our team and patients will miss him dearly, and we are grateful for the skilled and compassionate care he has provided our patients over the last several years.
Our entire Churchill team will remain the same, starting at the top with Dr. Troupe, and Dr. Alviani will offer the same (and more) procedures that you have come to expect from Dr. Mcshane. We have found a superstar person and dentist in Dr. Alviani, and we feel fortunate to have such a qualified and personable doctor stepping into Dr. McShane’s role in Churchill!
